            Damn you, Mindy Kaling. Such a brilliant woman. Mindy Kaling is one of the greatest women in the world. When I grow up, I hope to be like her.

            Kaling used to write and act on The Office, and now her genius is used as the creator of The Mindy Project. She can practically do no wrong.

            The Mindy Project is my favorite new show that premiered. I cannot even handle how good this show is.

            Mindy Kaling’s character Mindy is pretty much the woman every person with a vagina can relate to. And I say that with love.

            Every single woman on this Earth has compared her life to a romantic comedy. More specifically, a romantic comedy that features Meg Ryan. (Please see: When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless In Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, among countless others.)

            I myself think of scenarios that correlate to previously said romantic comedies. This makes for a lot of movie references.

            I live for pop culture references from Mindy.

            Mindy Kaling kills it on every single episode. Honestly, I love her little quips about being chunky and curvy. I mean she even figures out how to deal with a guy attempting to put on her skinny jeans.

            The witty dialogue on the show, and cynical comebacks on Kaling’s part is what makes this show even better. It’s not a show that tries to be so funny but fails. It works because Kaling puts a lot of hard work and dedication into it. And it is obvious.

            The ensemble cast of The Mindy Project which includes Chris Messina as Danny Castellano and Ike Barinholtz as Morgan are both pretty much epic. The ensemble cast is what makes the show.

            Seeing how Mindy deals with her coworkers and her potential love interests is what drives this show into flawless material.

            Plus, Kaling has a ton of guest stars on her show. Including Bill Hader, Seth Rogen, Ed Helms, among countless others. And the show utilizes the guest stars to their fullest potential and don’t just throw them in for a few minutes.

            Here’s another reason why The Mindy Project is just awesome. The Duplass Brothers (both Mark and Jay) guest star as midwives. Even better, Mark plays Brendan the douchey midwife who practically ruins Mindy.

            I really have accepted that I will watch anything that has Mark Duplass in it.

            Words cannot describe how amazing this show is. In all honesty, I would only watch The Mindy Project over and over again if I could. And I have sat and watched this show while being home sick nursing my wisdom teeth removal pain.

            The Mindy Project makes female driven comedies that much better. Mindy Kaling is someone who all aspiring female writers should look up to. Her show is amazing. And Kaling’s execution is pretty fucking amazing.

            It is also worth mentioning that people should read her book Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) because she basically embodies what makes women great, and funny women at that.

            Plus, her thoughts on Twitter is basically what happens on the show.

            I will always have a soft spot for Mindy Kaling. Because not a lot of women would be able to pull off the shit she does on her show. But this is why everyone should love and respect her.

            You have to watch the show to understand why Mindy Kaling is one of the greats.
